Salted Lassi Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

* 2 cup plain yogurt (NO LESS THAN 2% FAT)

* 2 cup water

* ½ tea spoon salt or to taste

* ½ tea spoon Jeera / Cumin powder

 

Method

 

Put yogurt, water, salt and Jeera / Cumin powder into a blender and blend for 2 minutes, then pour into individual glasses, and serve. Can sprinkle with a little Jeera / Cumin powder on the top once poured into individual glasses

 

The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours to be served chilled on hot summer days to refresh one’s energy. Alternative add some crushed ice.
